May 02, 2011 · My brother has just bought a Premier Artist maple kit (12/13/16/22/14sn) second hand for approx. £275 and I was wondering if anyone has played them or knows anything about them- I heard they were really a starter kit but being Premier and all Maple they should be good yeah? Havent heard them yet but he says the sound is excellent so thats what matters in the end anyway.

Sep 17, 2007 · Here's my Premier Artist Maple drum kit. I bought this a month or so ago, got a good deal from a guy via craigslist. Mar 24, 2005 · Premier series are 3mm undersized. If you get a chance to look at a kit, you'll notice there is a little more of a gap between the collar of the drum head and the actual shell. The artist series isn't as undersized. From what I've looked at there wasn't anything that struck me as a lower quality of wood being used for Artist.
