Feb 24, 2015 · Some colors are classics, and stay on the chart a long time. Some change each year. Artist Package models offer more choices, at a substantial upcharge, but you get lots of stuff upgraded. Private Stock is essentially PRS' Custom Shop, and the guitars are incredible, but much higher priced. Good luck in your search!

Nov 18, 2016 · Artist package is basically a price premium for a "Custom order". Either the customer (you) or the dealer specifies what comes in the Artist pkg. Depending on the guitar, you have a myriad of color options, neck wood, fretboard wood, pickups, etc. Apart from a few premium options, all of the configurations are accounted for in the "artist premium".
