And his work is somewhat different from the clipper ships on the high seas type pictures of my guy...and the b/d dates are wrong for a 1941 work. Biography. Scottish artist Robert MacGregor favored creating paintings of working-class people, such as fishermen, farm laborers, crofters, and shepherds. His paintings feature earthy tones.
