Rachel Owens, a Brooklyn-based contemporary multimedia artist, first joined the faculty in the School of Art+Design on a part-time basis in the spring of 2007, and then as a full-time visiting assistant professor in 2014–15. In 2015–16, she was appointed as a full-time assistant professor.
