Artist Biography: Raymond Naha (1933 1975) is a Native American, Hopi-Tewa artist who was born at Polacca. He studied with Fred Kabotie at Oraibi High School who encouraged him to continue his studies. Naha then took correspondence courses and studied at the Phoenix Indian School.

Raymond Naha was a painter who preferred acrylics. He was born on the Hopi Reservation in Arizona, and in high school was an art student of Fred Kabotie. He had work published in "Arizona Highways" magazine and exhibited in Scottsdale, Arizona, at the Indian Arts and Crafts Exhibition; in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the Indian Artists Exhibition, and in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the Art Show.
