Seddon was recommended to Jowett by E McKnight Kauffer. In 1940 he was invalided out of the Army and resumed work as an artist, producing a number of pictures based on his experiences in France. These were submitted to the WAAC in Spring 1941 and two were purchased for 14 guineas (15) (IWM:ART LD 988-989).
