Robbie Steinbach is a printmaker, photographer and book artist. She has lived in Taos, New Mexico, since 2001. In that time, she has taught classes in photography and women’s studies for UNM-Taos and has served as sales director for the Parks Gallery.

about the artist. Robbie Steinbach was born Imogene Kay Robshaw in 1948, in Belle Plaine, Iowa. When she was in fifth grade her family moved to Grundy Center, Iowa, where her father died when she was 13, and where she graduated from high school. She has one younger sister. She received her B.A. from the University of Northern Iowa in 1970, in English.

Oct 17, 2012 · Robbie Steinbach is a photographer, printmaker, and book artist. She received her M.F.A. from the University of Iowa and taught art and women's studies at the university level for many years. While living in the Midwest, Steinbach published her monograph, Lifework: Portraits of Iowa Women Artists. She moved to Taos, New Mexico, in 2001.
