Robert Morgan has considered himself an artist since childhood. Born in Fayette County in 1963, he lived briefly in San Francisco, in the late 1960s. Morgan works with found materials, recycling iconic objects from contemporary life into new and startling assemblages.

into the 1950s. Robert Morgan was born January 8, 1950, the second of five children, and radio was standard equipment in his family home. Life was not always sunshine and roses in the Morgan household. As a young girl Robert’s mother, Elizabeth, had been adopted after her own mother died. She was raised by a family in Jackson, Kentucky.
