After a long soul searching period, needing to choose between a career in art or in science, he decided to embrace studies in engineering at the Université de Sherbrooke. During his studies, he continued to take art lessons and paint on his own.

He works primarily in acrylics and at times will work with additional fibers and materials to enhance the piece he is creating.
