McKinney has a very laid back teaching style. He doesn't lecture during art class, but when asked he will help solve a problem one-on-one. His drawing class runs like a studio. He gives an assignment, comes & goes, & makes rounds during ea class to see how you are doing. You need to be proactive. I enjoyed his insights & feedback during critiques.
