Sade Carrington Buddbarria (bush name Dalimbal) was born at Balanygerre (Texas Downs Cattle Station) near Warmun in 1957. Carrington has been influenced by many of the early painters of Warmun including Hector Jandany, Jack Britten, Queenie McKenzie, Rover Thomas and her father Beerbee Mungnari who sadly passed away in 2011.

On returning to Australia, her daughter Myria (named after Sade’s mother Betty Carrington) was born in Darwin where she still lives with her French father. Her fondest childhood memories are those of accompanying her father, Beerbee Mungnari, and the late Henry Wambini and Jack Britten on their painting expeditions.
