Originally from Pennsylvania, Sam Geer attended Harrisburg Area Community College and Salem Community College where he studied under Jim Lard, Paul DeMarco, and Anna Boothe. From May of 2006 to the present he has worked as the artistic and teaching assistant to Hank Adams.

Whether object or performance, Geer strives to initiate moments of thrill and awe, making audiences question if what they are seeing is Art or Stunt. His sculptures and production work utilize primitive techniques from trades such as glassblowing, tinsmithing and welding, often using found objects and trash.
