This banjo was made in 1999 or 2000 in Korea (no serial number found). It is very suitable for beginners and intermediate players. Mine came with a nice hard shell case. It appears to be the same as Samick's SB-110 model rebadged as Artist Series.

Dec 26, 2003 · Purchased used via mail order, the banjo arrived with a broken rim. The folks at Samick replaced the rim, no charge with a close match. I have the Samick SB350 which is similar to the artist series but mine is gold plated. Not sure what else the difference is. Mine is walnut and very dark. It's also very heavy with the brass tone ring. It plays very nice to me but really don't have anything else to compare it too and haven't been to any jams yet to here what others sound like.
