Sammy Britt Britt obtained his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting at Memphis Academy of Arts and a Master of Fine Arts in painting from the University of Mississippi. Britt taught painting and drawing at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi for 35 years. He retired from Delta State in 2002.
