Pauline Dewar received first prize at the prestigious Margaret Flockton Award, which focuses exclusively on contemporary scientific botanical illustration, as distinct from botanical art.

Sandra Sanger (2008 + Best Botanical Artist, 2010 + Best Botanical Artist, 2013, 2016) - Sandra only took up botanical art after retirement from a career lecturing in drawing, art and design. Her first two exhibits were at Birmingham and then Sandra came to London for the latter two.

Sandra Sanger GM (2008, 2010, 2013, 2016) Worked as a graphic artist who lectured in Drawing, Art and Design at RMIT University. She took up botanical painting on retirement in 2000. She has won three RHS Gold Medals and been awarded Best in Show twice - in 2008 and 2010.
