Aug 29, 2008 · I have two Santa Cruz dreads, the Vintage Artist and an early D from '81. They are very different with their own personalities, but I love them both. Personally, I have never played a Santa Cruz I wouldn't like to keep. They are very good guitars.

Oct 26, 2010 · I picked up a Santa Cruz H body and really wanted to like it but it was just kinda OK. Hanging next to it was a Vintage Artist dreadnaught. Thought I should pick it up and checkout the neck profile. I was stunned at how light weight it was, then I noticed what a nice neck it had. Nice small frets and incredibly low action.
