This is a really nice gallery. The artist James Connor was in residence and spent a good deal of time explaining how he did his cities' artwork. We learned a lot about the cities and about the artist. He had many pieces for sale, including some numbered prints. The visit made us feel good. He also had a portrait he was working on.5/5(4)

James Brandess. Saugatuck Artist. 1/10/11 . Gallery . Jim Brandess met me for a SDHS oral history on a cold January day in his Butler Street studio. Together with Marley, his sociable dog, we talked amid his paintings to record his personal and professional history. A man of few surplus words, Jim managed to summarize his life in about 25 minutes.
