Sean McCabe was an award-winning art teacher, climber and avid cross-country skiier. Combining his vocation in art with his outdoor interests, Sean established himself as a unique artist portraying these outdoor sports with his colorful and sometimes whimsical style. Sean completed his Fine Arts degree at the University of Utah.

Sean McCabe has been climbing for 20 years and guiding for 10. He has climbed throughout the world and extensively throughout the US. Equally at home on difficult rock, ice or alpine routes, Sean uses climbing as inspiration for his art. His love for the mountains is apparent in all of his artwork, and his love for teaching has won him “Teacher of the Year” at the Methow Valley High School where he teaches art.
