For its first three years, Seattle Opera's Young Artists Program brought promising young singers to Seattle for 10 weeks, culminating in the production of a Mozart/Da Ponte comedy at Bellevue's Meydenbauer Centre. Several of the singers from those early years have gone on to major careers.
