Nov 21, 2020 · Simon Gilby is an amazing artist and an amazingly nice bloke for someone so successful. You can see his public art all over Perth and he has exhibited extensively. Simon’s work was put up on a small ‘island’ in Bathers Bay this morning as part of SCULPTURE@BATHERS.

This installation from Western Australian artist Simon Gilby, comprises ten life-sized sculptures, each based around the human form. Together the figures work as a group of intersecting characters. The sculptures are principally made from etched, welded and forged steel, combined with other materials.
