Biography April 1957 – May 2014 At the age of nine, in the town of Litchfield, Connecticut, Polly was given her first set of paint brushes and began learning the art of painting from her father, an artist with a love for oils. Little did she know at the time, but this would be the beginning of her life focus as an artist.

Polly Cook passed on in May of 2014. “I’ve always worked from my personal photographs of atmospheres and skies, dramatic sunsets and landscapes, flowers and macro shots from the garden. Living in Bermuda was an influence for color; living in England and Italy were opportunities to learn about light and the balance of history and nature in art.
