Dec 30, 2009 · Thanks for the advice. MP3Tag is a great tool. Very useful. I've deleted the tags and redone them and still have the same issue with these albums. Very odd I tried renaming the artist for one album from BT -> Brian and that worked fine. Put it back to BT and it disappeared again. Very puzzled by the ignoring of the Royksopp album.

The first thing to do is to break the link between “album” and “CD" by tagging the music such that each Work appears as one Album to SqueezeCenter. Then, because most playback software (Slim included) is looking for "Artist" as the primary selection key, fool it by putting the Composer in there instead.

Jan 04, 2009 · With the way SqueezeCenter works to determine the artist to display for each album, this makes the interface a little quicker. Without an album artist, SC looks at the artists from every track in an album. On a web page with, say, 50 albums, SqueezeCenter does 100s of db queries.
