Stanley Palmer - New Zealand painter/printmaker. Born 1936 near Thames, Coromandel, NZ, studied at Dunedin Technical College in the 1950s. Awarded a Queen Elizabeth II Art Council grant in 1969, he quit work as an art teacher becoming printmaker and painter in 1970.
