Steve Johnston was born in Glasgow in 1956. He previously worked as a photographer based in London, working for magazines such as Vogue, I-D etc. Steve Johnston’s work was published in various books and magazines and was included in the “Lives” Exhibition curated by Derek Boshier at the Hayward Gallery in London. Steve returned to painting in 1991.
