SUSAN GRANT Born in Marquette Michigan and raised in Ishpeming, I attended Western Michigan University. My major was dance and I minored in art. Being so busy with dance I was only able to take a couple drawing classes, never having the chance to take a painting class.

Bio. My first weaving experience was making pot holders on a simple loom at the young age of five and I’m still weaving fifty-plus years later. I taught public school art for over thirty years and textiles was always my area of expertise. I continue to be intrigued with color combinations.
