Apr 14, 2013 · The Super Redhead is tight, punchy and performs well at all levels. It's simple, yet delivers all sorts of sounds. The semi-parametric mid function is wonderful; it offers two levels of bass boost at a couple of frequency levels and the same is true for the treble. I found the SWR Aural function to be subtle but effective.

Nov 09, 2017 · WOW! I keep hearing guys speak on the RedHead as an inferior amp and I must say I find it intriguing. I suppose context is really important here but I have owned a Super Red Head since '97 and then in 2013 I purchased a used RedHead (the last iteration with the tube D.I.) and have had NONE of the issues many TB'rs have complained about.

Dec 24, 2015 · Listen to what's Been said, really, no offense but those speakers are great, your Shuttlemax is great all you need is a good cab to put them in and you will have a far better rig than the Redhead. Don't get me wrong I used an SWR SM400 for years and they're great for what they were back in the day. I left SWR behind 20 years ago.
