Sylvia Lark died of cancer on December 27, 1990 at the age of 43. Her untimely death meant the loss of a conscientious and dedicated member of the Art Practice Department. She is survived by Steve Chase of Sausalito, their daughter, Jillian, and her sister, Christine Carter.
