Aug 19, 2014 · Artist Point, where the hike begins, is an interesting place from the geological point of view, the mount was formed thousands years ago and resembles a layered cake, some hikers say that it reminds them of a stack of broken plates. Started from the Bagley Lakes trailhead, made our way more or less along the road and headed up to artist point. From there some minor route finding was needed to find a good gap through the trees and then a simple clockwise circumnavigation of Table Mountain.
