Jul 15, 2018 · When using the CTP-2 in conjunction with the Takamine Acoustic DI+ box the CTP-2 will function without batteries or the battery tray inserted provided a Takamine 4P jack is installed in the guitar and a TRS instrument cable is being used. The ARTIST SWITCH must be in its “TALL / Batteries ON, PHANTOM POWER ON” position for this to work.
