Take the piece of white paper and paint red. Using a little piece of cardboard (this is not that 3" piece), add some lines to the red paper with dark red acrylic paint. With the red and black papers cut 2 circles out for the flower (1 large than the other) and a stem for the poppy. Glue onto the inchie.

Set aside to dry. Take a piece of green painter's tape and your first inchie. Tape the lower section of your inchie. This will mark off your horizon line. Paint the upper part a nice blue. While the paint is still wet take a kleenex, scrunch it up a bit, and lift off a few clouds. Set aside to dry.

DVD looks interesting and I am sure the kids would love it but love the art project so much more. I have been trying to tie our projects together more by studying the period in art history and these would be a great way to do that, love the large version and the inchies. I am excited about trying a new inchies project for next year.
