Latifa Brown aka Tifa was born in 1983. She was immediately active in choir and dance clubs as a child. Her grandmother owned a bar and restaurant where she was able to hear music and dance. Brown suffered from Blount’s Disease, a rare disability that affected her legs and spent her first year of high school in a wheelchair.

Feb 10, 2013 · Tifa's grandmother had a restaurant and bar and she was always surrounded by music. She has memories of singing and dancing contests with her cousin. Her interest in the performing arts was sparked at the primary level when she began attending Wolmer's Preparatory School. There she was actively involved in the choir, drama and the dance club.
