Jul 31, 2013 · Gesso is not good at filling holes or evening out seams/mold lines. Gesso is designed to prime canvases, and it also shrinks to be the final tightening for a canvas. While yes it works on figures as a primer and you will get a lot of back and forth here about using it, I would not use it on Bones for primer or fixing problems.
