African Black Wonderstone. Rare black, fine grained sculpture stone from Ethiopia. The stone was gathered in NYC. Turtle Heart purchased 3 thousand pounds of it. Some 30 years later he still has a few hundred pounds. It is carved slowly and only for unique items. 1996 Mojave Desert California . about ten inches at longest point, about 4 to 5 inches deep.
