At Broadway, between 9th and Olympic The United Artists Theatre was built at the behest of Charlie Chaplin, Douglas Fairbanks Sr. and Mary Pickford. It is now the building whence Gene Scott's religious messages are broadcast around the globe. Behind this building is his famous local visual neon icon, the large "Jesus Saves" sign.

Later, the company moved its Los Angeles headquarters to 3350 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA, 9005; the building also houses the United Artist's Theatre, whose design was by the Los Angeles firm of Walker and Eisen in association with the Detroit-based architect, C. Howard Crane. It is a rare example of a Crane design on the West Coast.

The former United Artists Theatre became home for Los Angeles University Cathedral. Upon the death of Dr. Eugene Scott in 2005, the church continued to use the building for a few more years. It was put up ‘For Sale’ in 2010, and was sold in the fall of 2011, to a developer, with plans to convert the office space part of the building in a hotel.
