The UA Torrance Theatre was located on the corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Crenshaw Boulevard. It was opened October 9, 1963 with Dean Martin in “Toys in the Attic”. This was a rather non-descript, bland-looking theatre that seated about 600 in a short but wide auditorium. Contributed by Dennis Pierce

This theater was located in the Del Amo Fashion Square Mall which for a time was the largest indoor mall in the country. It opened August 18, 1971. Originally a fourplex, two houses used platters and two used dual projectors. Two additional larger auditoriums were added later.
