Veronica grew up in Northern Manitoba and was deeply influenced by the Cree culture in which she was immersed. A move with her family to Alberta when she was young created in her a yearning for the boreal forest of the north, the endless and abundant clean water, and the aurora borealis. Her vibrant acrylic paintings help fill her longing for the north.
