De Carlo actively exhibited and taught in Connecticut where he shared an art studio with his brother, artist ChHaven Paint and Clay Club, Tharles De Carlo in New Haven. Victor continued to travel to Provincetown during the summer months until he bought a house in Provincetown and settled there permanently in 1969.
