Get Together is Ireland’s National Day for Visual Artists. This annual event is geared towards all visual artists and offers the chance to meet other practicing artists and curators, engage in discussions on what impacts artists and make new connections with people working in galleries and arts organisations all over Ireland.

The Visual Artists Ireland Get Together 2017 was held on the 15th of September in IMMA, Irish Museum of Modern Art. Ireland’s National Day for Visual Artists, a day of coming together with talks, clinics, presentations, information sharing and networking, and I was excited to attend as part of my residency with An Tain Arts Centre.
