Walter Joseph Jr. was born on April 15, 1957. He is member of the Frog Clan of Hagwilget Wet’suwet’en. Walter learned woodcarving from his father, Walter Joseph, a fine mask carver. Walter mostly carved small one figure poles and plagues in Ksan style.
