The Wassaic Project is home to a year-round artist residency program, art exhibitions, festivals, and art education programs for kids, teens, and adults. We’re upstate, just two hours north of New York City, in beautiful Dutchess County.

The actual cost of each residency is $5,000 per month, which includes a semi-private studio, private bedroom, full use of our facilities, visiting artist program, studio visits, insurance, and staff support.

Thanks to the generous support of donors and grants, the artist’s contribution for an individual residency is $900 per month per person. Our merit-based Mary Ann Unger Fellowship also awards a no-fee one-month residency to one resident each summer.
