Mar 11, 2008 · 300 is not to unreasonable if the taxidermist is good. the sad truth is a lot of "red necks" get into taxidermy thinking its a quick way to get rich. but if your heart and soul aren't in the art of it your work will show it. ask to see some of their work first and pay close attention to the eye nose and mouth detail..if one of his deers lets say doesn't look right to you ..then chances are he ...

Jan 04, 2007 · I have had a deer and a wood duck mounted by Cherokee Taxidermy. I am pleased with the deer and the price was very reasonable. While I am not unhappy with my wood duck, I wish I had taken it somewhere else.

Nov 23, 2005 · ive heard that its good to lay them on their belly and imply force on the back. this will quickly kill them. i think the guy i heard this from said it makes them sufficate quickly. ive never done it though, the guy that told me is a taxidermist and probably knows whats good.
