Barratt, Watson (1884-1962): Born in Salt Lake City, he took work with the Shuberts in 1918 and thereafter became virtually their house set designer. Although he remained active until the early 1950s, his heyday was in the 1920s when he created sets for such Shubert productions as "Blossom Time" (1921) and "The Student Prince" (1924), as well as for their Winter Garden of Flowers.
