Weyers du Toit paints fast to capture his plein air landscapes and quirky still lives from life in alla prima - to arrest the motion of sun and shadow. He studied fine art under Liesbeth Gunther at The Cape College until 1994. He currently lives in his Overberg hometown, Bredasdorp.
