William Purser has been creating glass sculptures for over 35 years. The husband and wife glass artists behind Purser Studios focus is on the beautiful surroundings in the Florida Keys. William learned glass blowing from his family, at an early age. He apprenticed with off hand glass blowing at age 16. Working at Pairpoint Crystal Co. for 14 years.

Biography William Purser was an artist and architect who studied at the Royal Academy Schools. Between 1805-34 he exhibited his architectural subjects and landscapes at the Royal Academy, as well as exhibiting at the Society of British Artists.

William Purser (c.1790-1852) William Purser was an English artist and architect. Between 1817-20 he travelled around Italy and Greece with the architect John Sanders, acting as draughtsman, and during the 1820s and 1830s he travelled in Turkey. Some of his Turkish watercolours are held in the Victoria & Albert Museum collection.
