Jan 16, 2011 · My assumption is that when you have a compilation album with several artists, the album artist tag for all tracks is supposed to be set to "various artists" and each individual track will have a unique artist tag. When seaching for an artist in windows media center it correctly displays the unique artist tag from the compilation album, however the issue is that when the i attempt to actually play the track it only displays a message "There are no songs by this artist."
