Nov 16, 2012 · I updated tons of embedded covers in the mp3s. after I deleted thumbnails/Music I got for most of the Mp3s the transparent/no Cover Art displayed. Only after I manually deleted (renamed) the myMusic18.db file xbmc was able to rebuild the database with the embedded covers.

May 17, 2014 · The upgrade to Gotham was no problem for the working of Xbmc. As far as I can see everything is working on the Media Server itself; Cover-art, thumbnails and all. Old and newly added media on XBMC show the art on the main interface, but not in Yatse and the Web interface.. With the web interface saying the image links are broken.

Aug 06, 2020 · Description This is a follow-up to #18218 . That PR allowed reading of tags from files served over http however it transpired that thumbnails were never assigned to the albums. This PR corrects that. Motivation and Context As explained above, Kodi was unable to read the album art thumbnail from an http directory. This is because HTTPDirectory.cpp doesn't set the required property.
