It shows all of their titles and artists. But when I sync with my Samsung Focus, Zune identifies all their titles but none of their artists.

Jan 23, 2008 · Here is a way to get rid of the Unknown artist problem. I may solve the other problem as well. Go to My documents>My Music>Zune. Create a folder for the artist that it is saying is unknown. Go to the Unknown folder and drag the music to the new folder. Do not copy and paste it unless you go back and delete it from unknown.

When the files are synced, either in Media Player or copy and pasted, the files have all their tags until I disconnect the unit form the pc. after it the “refreshing Media” message the some fields are changed to Unknown, such as Artist and Album.
